we supply Scotland

We have supplied numerous arena surfaces to customers in Scotland.

Every single customer with the exception of Strathclyde Police Mounted Branch have purchased FLAT STRIP RUBBER due to it's properties protecting the sand from freezing down to minus 13 degrees. Customers within the Scottish areas have always made enquiries primarily for a surface that will offer maximum protection possible against freezing.

Strathclyde police however have an indoor arena therefore the protection against freezing is not an issue.

We have very competitive rates of transport to all areas of Scotland whether delivering in bulk bags or in bulk.

Testimonials 2012

14th March 2012 (Flat Strip)

We took delivery for the flat strip rubber surface in August 2011 for our round pen, that we use for lungeing & join – up. We are really pleased with how the surface works, and it needs very little maintenance which is always good!

7th March 2012 (Flat Strip)

I purchased strip rubber from you to place over silica sand in the autumn of last year. Our ménage is used frequently in a busy livery yard and the strip rubber has been fantastic from the delivery:

  • On time
  • Courteous driver
  • The strip rubber surface has needed little maintenance
  • Has been praised by all who have used it – Flatwork, jumping, novice & professional
  • Drained very well and was able to rise on it when it was -3 degrees.

14th February 2012 (Rubber Fibre Shred)

We built a new ménage in June 2011 and used Belvoir (UK) Ltd for the final surface. We used a topping of Rubber Fibre Shred over Fibre sand and found this to be a very good surface, although it is a little deep in places and it would do with a good rain on it as we have hardly had any wet on it since it was laid.

We found Neil very helpful when we were making the decision on which surface to use. We collected the rubber with our own transport and laid it using a local contractor. We mostly use the ménage for flatwork and find it a very good surface to ride on and the horses work well on it.

9th February 2012 (Rubber Fibre Shred)

I am delighted with my new surface (Rubber Fibre Shred) which was purchased as an overlay to an ash and rubber shred. It has proved to be outstanding for both a jumping surface and dressage and has stood up to the weather conditions of winter 2010 / 11 (i.e. -9 degrees) allowing us to exercise our horses daily when many of our friends couldn’t get their horses out for weeks!!

Maintenance has been a doddle just regular grading and due to the size of the shreds they do not get kicked out of the arena.

All in all I would have no problem in recommending you, your company and your products.

Good luck for the future.

Jacqui Thompson

4th February 2012 (Rubber Fibre Shred)

I purchased Rubber Fibre Shred from you last autumn (2011) as a top up/improver for my arena.

The existing surface was sand with some PVC granules which was riding very deep and dusty though would become waterlogged after prolonged rain. I am absolutely delighted with the result, and the arena is now β€˜springy’, no longer deep or dusty, it retains moisture easily yet has not become waterlogged and after several frosts recently, including one night of -9C, it has always been safe and usable.

We have competition horses (eventing and dressage) and produce youngsters all of whom are happy and confident on the surface now, both on the flat and jumping. I cannot recommend this product highly enough and will be ordering more when a top up is required.

1st February 2012 (Tyre Granulate)

Some kind of shredded rubber (don’t know exact name or type, but your records should tell you) Β£806 paid 15/8/2011 Jane Sara Sheffield S13

The rubber was used to top-up an ash surface on a mΓ©nage with a coating of rubber. The rubber shreds I bought from you are smaller than my original rubber. They have spread well and work well over and alongside my original rubber. I like the texture and am pleased with the product. It perhaps needs re-levelling more often than the bigger pieces (or raking in places) as it seems easier to displace by footfalls but I would consider using it again (e.g. as an additional top-up).

31st January 2012 (Promix)

I had a lot of help from Belvoir, including samples. These were submitted to our local planning officers. They were very pleased with Promix and asked for the supplier to pass details on to other people applying who live in an AONB.

This mix looks less stark than just black rubber. The mix spreads easily – it’s light and easy to shovel and kick about. It retains its levels and is so light and easy to ride on, even when wet. It is very low maintenance.

31st January 2012 (Promix)

Dear Neil, Last June 2011 you supplied us with top dressing of Promix for our 30 x 60 new school. You were very accommodating providing it to us in grab bags, (70 if I remember) and a prompt delivery within a week of confirming our order.

The surface has bedded down really well over the last 6 months and we are delighted with it. It is springy and light to ride on and the horses love it – even the older horses jump out of their skins on the surface. Many complements have been received from friends and family and last week we had 130 horses at once on the surface as we hosted a children’s meet for our local hunt, the Southdown & Eridge. It is dead easy to maintain; has not yet frozen and is proving a great success. Thanks for such a great product. All my homework on getting the right surface has paid off – it was a bigger decision than getting married!!
